Give incentives for visitors to 'Like' your Page
Now that you have built your Facebook Business Page, you need to grow the number of persons who ‘Like’ your page and become part of your community. Here are a few ideas to get started.
1. Run a contest on your Page
This is a powerful tool to generate new fans quickly. Consider launching a simple contest in which ‘liking’ your Facebook page could lead to an award or a freebie. One of the most effective ways to accumulate Facebook “Likes” is by triggering some form of positive interaction from visitors to your Page.
2. Use your existing Personal Profile
Using your personal profile you can invite your friends from there to join your Page.
3. Promote with your LinkedIn Profile
LinkedIn is another great option to use to get exposure for your Page. You can add the link to your LinkedIn profile in the same section where you added your company’s website.
4. Promote with press releases
Create a press release to announce your new Page and send to the local papers, both online and off line publications.
5. Put link on all printed material
Make sure to add the link to your Page on you business cards, flyers, brochures, banners for trade shows and expo.

Put a link to your Page in your email signature and use it in any online forums you might be involved in.
7. Advertise on other people’s websites or blogs

Start by researching your industry for the thought leaders you want to connect with. Showing attention to these influencers is strong enough to get the relationship going. You can do that by either addressing them directly on social networks or mentioning them in a blog post or in a video you post to your website of Facebook business page. The chances are they will notice you and respond positively by ‘Liking’ your Page.
